Tiring Orientation week

Orientation week was fun, sometimes bored but really tiring. We have to wake up around five to six every morning and goes to bed after one something.

We had a series of activities along like sports, speeches, games and bla bla. The sports made me like a charcoal and I spent around one week to have my skin peeled off, meaning I had sun burn. I played basketball which I never played before. We got kicked out in the first round. It was sad but still enjoying duh. KY was our captain and I think she leaded well enough.

Next about the speeches. Well, I hate speeches and I never enjoy in any of these. We had this programme with higher education ministry which I find his speech interesting. It was more to politics issues and he was funny. The way he talked was as if he was in parliament. He is the best speaker I ever seen. The audiences were given chance to speak too and there was this chinese guy with super lousy Malay speaking which made everyone laughed. He was so Oh My God…

And we had our Angkasawan, Dr Sheikh Muszaphar Shukor, UKM alumni to share his experience in space. I never thought he is something till the moment he gave his speech. Wow…

I only managed to capture this and it’s kinda blur.

There are actually more to tell about the orientation week but I am lazy. So…

The new gang

Its normal to have a new gang when you joined a new environment.

And here I am with a new gang knew through basketball team. Our basketball team is a sad thing to say for its achievement but it does bring us more than glory. We formed a new gang. Erm…basically there are seven of us. Each and everyone of us in different courses. They are Kai Ying (KY), Xiao Hui (flower pot), Li Min, Yee Wen, Xin Yu and Xiang Yu.

As we are all in different courses, we are sort of like ‘after class gang’. Together we play and joke till middle of night almost every night.

I find Flower Pot the funniest. Given her pretty look she is more suitable to be a ‘pot’ without openning her mouth. Know why? As she start to speak, her image all gone. And thats how she got her nick too… Others are funny too with their characters.
